Euskalduna Conference Hall

METROMEET will take place at the Conference Centre and Concert Hall Bilbao. From its opening in February 1999, the Palace of Conventions and Music, better known as Euskaduna Palace, has succeeded in giving meaning to its configuration as a multifunctional complex of 53.000 square meters.
Conceived by Federido Soriano and Dolores Palacios as a symbol of the last ship constructed in the old Euskaduna shipyards, it has not only been honoured as one of the most important contemporary works by a Spanish architect, but it recently received the Premio Apex Award for Best Convention Centre of the World 2003.
